I've read many "weight loss" type books and found this one to be a valuable addition. Along with providing the background and the reasons that many "diets" are ineffective there are (a few) recipes and some helpful checklists and logs to use.
Many diet books are about 50% recipes that I'd never even try. The book's recipes are quite doable and the few I've tried are quite tasty. Also the "basic pantry" setup is a good resource so you always have the necessary ingredients on hand and ... Read More

Read about this book in First magazine[ with testimonials of people who have lost weight using it] so I ordered the book thru Amazon. In the current climate of low and no carb diets, this is about carb cycling to teach your body to use fat for energy.
